Hello, welcome to my soccer blog, "Logs N' Roses". I'm Jacob Doczy, a college student with dreams of a sports writing career. I decided to join my high school newspaper during my senior year and started writing articles about Mountainside sports games. i have loved watching sports for years so writing about sports came naturally to me and I realized that I could make a career out of this. This blog seems like the next natural step for me in my sports writing journey.

With Logs N' Roses, I plan to provide coverage of the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns by writing match recaps, general team news, any big news about any Timbers or Thorns player, or any stories or opinion pieces I may feel like writing.
